Despite his young age, Kumar managed to balance his studies with running his food stall. He explained that after finishing school at 2 pm, he would work at his stall and then study late into the night.

According to Physics Wallah, Kumar scored an impressive 664 out of 720 in the NEET 2024 exam with just a year of preparation, all while working at his samosa stall for 4-5 hours daily.

“There were times I studied all night, and my eyes would hurt in the morning,” Kumar recalled. Reflecting on his choice to pursue a medical career, he said, “My interest in medicine began when I saw how people were cured, which is why I chose Biology. Selling samosas won’t define my future.”

Kumar has been a student at Physics Wallah since 11th grade. Recognizing Kumar’s dedication and struggles, Alakh Pandey awarded him a scholarship of ₹6 lakh and committed to covering his medical college tuition fees.
