Assembly Elections Likely in November: CM Shinde Highlights Seat Distribution, Job Initiatives

The distribution of seats within the Maha Yuti is still undecided. The BJP is preparing to contest 140-150 seats, while Shinde’s Shiv Sena is seeking over 100 seats, citing their strike rate. The NCP, led by Ajit Pawar, plans to contest more than 60 seats. Following their strong performance in the Lok Sabha elections, the Maha Vikas Aghadi has expressed confidence in winning a larger number of seats in the forthcoming assembly elections.

Additionally, the Chief Minister has set a target of providing employment to 10 lakh youths through skill training programs. Currently, 1.5 lakh youths have been given jobs with stipends ranging from ₹6,000 to ₹10,000. The initiative aims to include 10 lakh youths overall.
