Two years ago, Air India operated a daytime flight connecting Delhi to Bhopal via Pune. However, this service was discontinued due to challenges in obtaining slots and No Objection Certificates (NOCs) from the military. With the commencement of 24/7 operations at Pune Airport, there is a possibility that Air India may resume its night flights to Pune, offering more options for passengers.

According to airport authorities, there are currently 5-6 slots available for night operations. Airlines interested in starting flights during these hours can benefit from free aircraft parking. Discussions are ongoing with several airlines about the potential launch of additional late-night and early-morning flights.
