Against the Cardinals of Arizona, many weeks ago, Cooper Kupp hurt his ankle. Since then, he has been on injured reserve. That was four weeks ago, the minimal amount of time needed on IR before being cleared to play again. There was a chance he may have played tonight against the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football.
While the Rams haven’t been officially eliminated from playoff contention, their chances remain slim. They have no room for error if they want to defend their championship. Tonight, Baker Mayfield would need the full force of the team’s support.

Is Cooper Kupp playing tonight?
The wide receiver reportedly won’t be back until tomorrow. The chances of him coming back this season are slim. Even if there is a little chance of making the playoffs, it is probably not worth risking his ankle injury at this point.
As has been the case for some time now, the Rams are going to have to do without their best wideout. It’s possible that’s all they see for the rest of the season.
The Latest on Cooper Kupp and Our Future Projections for His Fantasy Production
This week, Kupp should not be started by anybody in the fantasy playoffs. The wideout won’t be participating in tonight’s game, and he may not be able to contribute to the outcome of the championship at all if he doesn’t participate.
There’s no sense in counting on a strong game from him to change the outcome of a contest.
Cooper Kupp Alternate Picks for your Fantasy Team
Without Kupp, there are few other viable possibilities. The fact that it’s a Monday night game just adds to this reality. All the other squads have previously competed.
Van Jefferson is expected to score 9.2 points due to his strong performance and previous success with Baker Mayfield. Only 24.8% of leagues on ESPN have him as an owner.
Tutu Atwell, another member of his club, is owned in just 3.3% of leagues despite having a predicted score of 9.6. In a matchup against the winless Packers, any of those two guys may have a breakout performance.
Though they are long shots, those two should be considered by fantasy owners in desperate need of a miracle.
