Later, he also threatened the girl not to tell her mother or anyone else about the incident, or else he would kill her mother. The frightened girl somehow managed to reach home. When her parents questioned her about her condition, she broke down and told them about the harrowing incident. Hearing that, her parents were also shocked. They immediately rushed to the police station and filed a complaint against the driver narrating the incident.
A case has been registered against an unknown rickshaw driver under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act (POCSO) Act. The police are searching for the rickshaw driver.

A few days ago, a similar incident happened to a minor girl in Ambernath near Mumbai. While going home, the victim, who is a 15-year-old girl, the accused rickshaw driver managed to take her in the auto on the pretext of dropping her at her preferred destination. But he took the girl to a dumping ground and assaulted her. After the frightened victim informed her parents about the incident, they also contacted the police. The police soon registered a case under POCSO, rushed to the spot, and began the investigation.
