According to Officer Bapu Rote of Daund Police Station, the accused minors would lure children with camel rides, then take them to secluded areas and molest them. The police have registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act and sections of the Indian Judicial Code.

Police Inspector Santosh Doke is overseeing the investigation, with Assistant Inspector Nagnath Patil conducting further inquiries.
