As Deepika continues her recovery in the hospital with Ranveer by her side, there has been growing speculation about the kind of parenting style the couple will adopt. According to reports, Deepika may follow in the footsteps of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who famously did not hire a nanny for her daughter Aaradhya. A source shared with Bollywood Life that Deepika is expected to be a “hands-on mom,” much like Aishwarya, who was praised for personally caring for her daughter. In fact, Jaya Bachchan once called Aishwarya a “hands-on” mother, a tag that Deepika could soon earn herself.
Not only does it appear that Deepika is choosing to forgo hiring a nanny, but the couple is also considering implementing a no-photo policy for their daughter. Similar to the approach taken by Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, as well as Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika and Ranveer might decide to keep their little one away from the public eye until they feel the time is right. They want to give their daughter a normal upbringing, away from the constant media glare, at least for now.
As Deepika takes a break from her professional commitments to focus on motherhood, sources suggest she will remain on maternity leave until March 2025. Once her leave ends, she is set to return to the big screen with the sequel to Kalki 2898 AD, starring alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Prabhas. Ranveer, on the other hand, is gearing up for his upcoming projects, including Singham Again and Don 3, the latter of which will see him sharing the screen with Kiara Advani.
In the meantime, the couple’s close friends and family continue to visit the hospital to meet their newborn. From Shah Rukh Khan to the Ambanis, the support for Deepika and Ranveer’s new journey into parenthood has been tremendous. As fans eagerly wait for a glimpse of the little one, it remains to be seen when or if the couple will introduce their daughter to the world.
