However, the journey to this achievement wasn’t without its challenges. The unexpected cancellation of the original exam date in June came as a shock to Dr. Shivani. “I couldn’t believe it when I heard the exam was canceled. Despite my initial disbelief, I didn’t panic. I had put in a lot of effort and even canceled my plans to study in the UK to stay in India for this exam,” she explained. Determined not to let the setback derail her, she quickly resumed her preparations and tackled the exam in August.
Beyond her academic focus, Dr. Shivani emphasized the importance of balancing work and life. While preparing for the PG entrance, she also made time for travel, fitness, and other activities to maintain her well-being. This balanced approach helped her stay resilient during the stressful periods of her MBBS and exam preparation.
Looking ahead, Dr. Shivani is still contemplating her specialization but is leaning towards general medicine or radiodiagnosis. She attributes her success to a strong foundation in physiology and pathology from her MBBS studies. “I didn’t attend offline coaching classes but relied on online platforms and daily self-study to achieve my goals,” she added.
Dr. Shivani’s remarkable achievement is a testament to her dedication, resilience, and balanced approach to life.
