Previously on Dr Stone Season 2 Episode 4
Science team managed to acquire an ally in Tsukasa Empire. Chrome got caught by Ukyo, the right hand man of Tsukasa. Senku decided to shift whole Science Kingdom near Tsukasa Empire’s base in order to save Chrome. To shift all the stuff, Senku made an Steam Engine which he installed on a wooden cart, thus making an automobile.
Dr Stone Season 2 Episode 5 synopsis
Episode starts with Magma trying to stop the self running steam engine installed on a cart but instead got run over by the cart. Seeing this everyone gets impressed that now they can save Chrome
Meanwhile at Tsukasa’s base where Chrome was being held captive, Tsukasa imprisoned Chrome in a cave which was easily accessible to attack and rescue Chrome. Hyoga asked Tsukasa that why he chose to imprison Chrome in that cave where it’s easy to rescue him, to this Tsukasa replied him that Senku may seem to be cold hearted but he cares about his friends and he’ll must come to save Chrome and also Senku must already have made steam engine automobile. So to easily capture Senku, chrome is kept in that place as bait to lure Senku there and Tsukasa told Hyoga about the traps were laid in that area which will trap Senku.
In the Ishigami village preparations were being made to shift the base near Tsukasa’s empire. Gen was given to test drive the Steam Gorilla but since the wheels were made of wood it was hard to drive the Steam Gorilla on the unpaved road. So Senku got an idea to make airless tires made of Hexagonal Bamboo weaves which were used by NASA in planetary exploration and it’ll be very useful on the unpaved ground.
With the airless tires, Steam Gorilla got an overall upgrade. Senku told everyone to load all the stuff and elderly but elders of the village told Senku that they won’t go with Senku and they already know that Senku made this specially for the elderly as they couldn’t walk long distances but everyone objected that if Tsukasa’s men attacked the village then no one would be there to protect the villagers. Listening this elders told that this is the least of their worry as they believe that Team Science will defeat Tsukasa before they can attack the village.
So all the villagers left the village except the elderly and were setting a new base hidden near Tsukasa Empire and Suika who was expert in sneaking, went by herself to Tsukasa’s empire to find the location of Chrome. She successfully found the location and came back and told everyone that Chrome is okay but heavily surrounded by guards. Listening this Magma said they should charge head on and murder every guard, to this Senku said that he doesn’t know about murdering the guards but this time it’s not a bad idea to charge head on.
He told everyone that he’ll upgrade the Steam Gorilla into tank to charge head on, so Kohaku asked Senku if he is going to use iron to Armor the Steam Gorilla, to which Senku replied that using iron will make it heavy and hard to move as a ram so he’ll use paper. Listening this everyone told him that has he gotten crazy, trying to use paper to use as a Armor. Senku told everyone that he is going to make carbon fibre which is tough as iron but still light and how this carbon fibre was used in supercars and rockets.
Kinro wasn’t convinced by this idea as he didn’t believe about carbon fibre being so strong and told Senku that a well made spear can even piece a wooden shield so how can a paper be good to use for Armor. So Senku challenged Kinro to attack him on the shield with his best spear and without holding back. Kinro accepted the challenge and attacked the shield which was held by Senku but to everyone’s suprise spear was broken and there wasn’t even a hole in that shield
So the carbon fibre was armored on the Steam Gorilla and thus a new weapon was made by the Team Science. Ginro asked Senku tha they should use this armored steam Gorilla to defeat every guard but Senku replied that this steam Gorilla is for one time use to save Chrome and if chrome escaped by himself then things would be quite different and it’d give them a major upper hand in the battle
Meanwhile in the prison, Chrome saw the traps when a guard accidentally put his foot in the entrance of pitfall on which sharpened ends of bamboo were installed to kill or trap Senku and his team. After seeing this chrome decided that in order to save Senku and his friends from this trap, he’ll escape on his own

Set up in Post-apocalyptic world where all the humans were petrified when a light engulfed the whole world. Every single human present on the Earth was Petrified.
But there was a genius who didn’t lose consciousness and counted every second since the petrification and revived himself only to find the whole Human civilization in ruins. After some research Senku found that Nitric Acid was the reason which was able to undo the petrification.
Senku revived his friend Taiju and their classmate Yuzuriha and with his friends Senku declared that he won’t let the advancement and discoveries of Humankind to go to waste and will revive the Humanity by undoing the petrification and sets on a journey to gather strong allies.
Since Senku and his friends weren’t so strong to protect them from wild animals so, they also revived a Martial artist Tsukasa who shall be a essential factor to rebuild the human civilization but Tsukasa after learning the truth of Petrification decided that he won’t helo Senku in rebuilding Human civilization as Humans in past with the power of science did many horrible things like modern warfare and the new humanity didn’t need those corrupted humans.
This led to formation of two factions, one Science team which was trying to rebuild the whole Human civilization by reviving the remaining humans and second, Tsukasa Empire which was against the Idea of Science Kingdom infact they were even against the whole Science and the inventions. Tsukasa threatened to kill Senku if he didn’t listen to him and this started the stone wars, a war in stone age between the science kingdom and anti-science kingdom.
