Daund, 8th October 2024: A shocking incident has come to light where a man murdered his father after being kicked out of the house in Pune district. The father had asked his son to leave because he was unemployed, which led to the fatal confrontation. The incident occurred in Daund. Police Inspector Gopal Pawar, in charge of Daund Police Station, provided information about the case. The deceased has been identified as Sunil Laxman Randive (57), a resident of Sathe Nagar, Daund. Police have arrested his son, Sachin Sunil Randive.

Sunil’s wife and Sachin’s mother, Jayashree, complained to Daund Police Station, which falls under the Pune Rural Police Force. Sachin, who was unemployed, was also facing marital issues as his wife had returned to her parents’ home following arguments. On 6th October, Sachin went to bring her back, but she refused. Enraged, Sachin argued with his parents. When Sachin continued to disobey, his father asked him to leave and locked the house from the inside.

Last night, Sachin returned home and, while his father was asleep, struck him with a concrete paver block. His father, seriously injured, was first taken to the Sub District Hospital in Daund and later transferred to Sassoon General Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
