How to delete an Instagram account

To delete your Instagram account, you can follow these steps:

1. Open the Instagram app on your device and log in to your account.
2. Tap on the profile icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.
3. Tap the three lines in the top right corner of the screen and select “Settings” from the menu.
4. Scroll down and tap on “Help Center” at the bottom of the screen.
5. In the search bar at the top of the screen, type “delete account” and press enter.
6. Tap on the “How do I delete my account?” article.
7. Scroll down and tap on “How do I permanently delete my account?”
8. Tap on the “Delete Your Account” button and follow the prompts to permanently delete your account.

Note: If you delete your account, your profile, photos, comments, and likes will be permanently removed, and you will not be able to use the same username or email to create a new account. Before deleting your account, you may want to consider downloading a copy of your data from Instagram. You can do this by going to the “Data Download” section in the “Privacy and Security” tab in your account settings.
