Last time on jujutsu Kaisen Episode 18
A new Unregistered Special Grade Cursed Spirit, Hanami attacked and interrupted the Exchange event. Hanami”s attack reached Kamo and Fushiguro who were fighting each other and soon Inumaki joined them. At the same time another curse user casted a anti Gojo Satoru veil. Everyone went to protect the students who were at the event place. Kamo, Fushiguro and Inumaki combined attack were of no effect against Hanami”s hard skin and rapid regeneration.

Fushiguro and Maki vs The Cursed Spirit
Kamo, Fushiguro and Inumaki were trying to get outside of the Veil but this Cursed spirit was too strong to let them escape so they came up with a plan to successfully escape. The plan was, Inumaki shall stop that cursed spirit from by using his cursed speech while Fushiguro and Kamo will attack but Kamo was uncertain that wether they can hold the cursed spirit for that long. Kamo also wondered that if they could reach Todo then the situation shall be a little good
And it happened, Inumaki was at his limit as the opponent was way stronger and the formation broke. The cursed spirit attacked Kamo but was saved by Fushiguro. Then Maki came to help and attacked the cursed spirit with the sword he took from Kasumi but the sword broke.
Now only Fushiguro and Maki were left who were able to fight. Maki brought out a three-section staff which bolster’s the user’s strength and Fushiguro was using a strong black sword. For a while, they put a fight against the cursed spirit but still were no match for its Endurance and Regeneration.
While attacking, Fushiguro got hurt and infected by a bud of the cursed spirit which grows as a parasite on a human body and the rate of growth increases as one uses Cursed energy, so Fushiguro was also rendered incapable of fighting and Maki alone also got caught by the cursed spirit.
Todo and Yuji vs The Cursed Spirit
Yuji and Todo stepped in to rescue both Fushiguro who was also unable to fight and Maki who was caught by the cursed spirit and was about to killed. Soon Panda also arrived on the scene. Todo told Panda to take away Maki and Fushiguro and exit the Veil.
Panda took them away and Todo stepped a bit away and told Yuji to fight alone as this opportunity will serve as training and also told Yuji that he won’t step in to help him until he lands Black Flash on the cursed spirit and won’t help even if Yuji died. This made the cursed spirit to wonder about the confidence of Todo and Yuji. To the cursed spirit Todo appeared to have a certain strong presence but his amount of cursed spirit wasn’t that much and the cursed spirit also wondered about the Black Flash which Todo Mentioned.
Before starting the fight Yuji asked the cursed spirit that it understood human language and wether it’s allied with a humanoid Cursed spirit who had patchwork face. To this, the cursed spirit told Yuji that what if yes! Listening this Yuji started his attack on the cursed spirit.
Yuji managed to land a blow on the cursed spirit and saw it’s torso wide open as the cursed spirit let it’s guard down because Yuji held back but then also Yuji was unable to land the Black Flash on the cursed spirit and this gave the Cursed spirit a chance to counter attack. Yuji retreated backwards and to his surprise Todo slapped him and told that having rage and feelings is good but too much rage is hindrance to using the cursed energy. He also told Yuji that between those who have experienced the Black Flash and those who have not, their difference from core of the cursed energy is like that heaven from earth. The instant cursed energy impacts within a trillionth of a second of a blow, space is distorted and Cursed energy flashes back, this is Black Flash.
Yuji came back to his senses and with improved concentration managed to land Black Flash on the cursed spirit and dealt a great amount of damage but the cursed spirit regenerated again. Todo told Yuji that a cursed spirit body is made of Cursed energy and unlike humans the special grade can recover immediately but it also expend their certain amount of Cursed energy and to defeat them one must sever the head.
After experiencing Black Flash the cursed spirit decided to fight more seriously and removed the cloth covering it’s left hand. Then a large scale hand to hand battle unfolded and Todo and Yuji started fighting the cursed spirit together.
They were hitting the cursed spirit hard and their explosive power were becoming a nuisance to cured spirit. Fighting was happening on the large woody structure created by the cursed spirit and the moment they were about to hit the cursed spirit more seriously, the cursed spirit made the footing disappeared. Todo and Yuji were falling down and seeing this a great opportunity, the cursed spirit attacked them but Todo and Yuji managed to dodge it mid-air by pushing each other through their legs.
After fighting Todo and Yuji, the cursed spirit remembered when Mahito, the humanoid patchwork Cursed spirit told Hanami that she should enjoy the battles rather than simply seriously fighting and through this fight Hanami understood about the things Mahito said and She too was beginning to enjoy the battle.
Todo landed successfully and Yuji landed on the bushes. The cursed spirit soon came down and Yuji immediately attacked the cursed spirit and Todo followed Yuji. Together they attacked the cursed spirit and Todo told Yuji that it’s time to unleash his technique and the episode ended

After consuming Sukuna, Yuji saves his friends with the power of Sukuna and Sukuna was happy to get a new body but Yuji suppressed Sukuna’s Consciousness and this made him a promising future Jujutsu Sorcerer with ultimate potential.
So he got an offer to join jujutsu tech as fist year student and also in that way people at jujutsu tech can keep eye on Yuji.
