Jujutsu Kaisen is an anime series based on manga series of the same name by author Gege Akutami. The series premiered on October 3, 2020, and is scheduled to run for 24 episodes.
Set up in modern Japan, life is not completely normal for few who can see Curses. Curses or Cursed spirits are a race of beings which are the result of negative human emotions. These Cursed spirits bring harm to humanity and are targeted by jujutsu sorcerers. Jujutsu Sorcerers are trained and skilled members of jujutsu tech capable of fighting curses.
The plot of Jujutsu Kaisen revolves around a young boy Yuji Itadori whose life took a complete turn of events when he consumed a finger of King of Cursed spirits, Sukuna who was defeated a very long time ago and his fingers are kept in various places in the city to guard the place against various low ranking curses who fear Sukuna. After consuming Sukuna, Yuji saves his friends with the power of Sukuna and Sukuna was happy to get a new body but Yuji suppressed Sukuna’s Consciousness and this made him a promising future Jujutsu Sorcerer with ultimate potential.
So he got an offer to join jujutsu tech as fist year student and also in that way people at jujutsu tech can keep eye on Yuji.
