Last time on Kemono Jihen Episode 6

Shiki and Akira were rendered unconscious after getting hit by the Mosquito Kemono attack and after seeing this friends hurt, Kabane awakens his Hidden Kemono power and defeated the Mosquito Kemono. After defeating the Kemono, the new subordinate of Inari came to clean up the mess and he told Kabane about Inari’s scheme. Also, Shiki told Inugami that he is ready to see his parents.

Kemono Jihen Episode 7 synopsis

Inugami, Kabane, Akira, and Shiki went to the village where Shiki used to live as a kid with his uncle before he started working for Inugami.

There, in the village, they met Shiki’s uncle, Akio who told everyone about how Shiki’s mother and father met but he didn’t told the complete truth about what happened to Shiki’s parents and simply told them that Shiki’s parents were dead.

Everyone was feeling down after learning about Shiki’s parents. So to cheer up everyone, Nobimaru arrived and told everyone to visit the local waterfront and the fireflies. The scenery somewhat cheered up everyone.

At the waterfront, Shiki saw a tree and remembered that when he was a kid, he used to mark that tree in the forest area and other things while roaming in the forest. He also remembered that every morning his mother went to the forest for a certain kind of work and told Shiki not to search for her but one day he couldn’t wait and went to see his mother and after reaching a rundown house in the forest he saw a horrific scene which traumatized him and while he was frozen after being traumatized, someone hit him in the head.

After Shiki wake up, he was in his uncle’s apartment and his uncle told Shiki that his mother has to be separated from him due to certain circumstances. Shiki also remembered that it was his uncle who hit him in the head and his uncle was telling lies about his parents. Nobimaru told that there were some incidents regarding spider silk and horrible experiments and how someone was doing this research on this spider silk which could weave cells and even organs in the human body and if this research was made public, it’d jeopardize the existence of Kemono. So Inari suppressed this matter before it could become public.

Nobimaru also told Shiki that it was someone named Akio Tademaru, Shiki’s uncle After hearing all this it was confirmed that Akio is maim culprit and he hadn’t told everything about Shiki’s parents

Meanwhile, Inugami went to Akio’s house and told him to reveal everything about Shiki’s parents. Akio told Inugami that one day Shiki’s father while searching the truth behind the folklore of the golden spider web, he met an unfortunate death by falling from a cliff in the woods.

Akio told Inugami that the folklore wasn’t just folklore but was based on real incidents and this information was enough for Shiki’s father but Akio wanted to research more and wanted to create the spider silk which could regenerate the human organs and this could mean eternal life for humanity and by doing this he’d have become a remarkable man in the history.

One day Akio got the opportunity to perform the experiment on Shiki’s mother to produce a creature that could produce such miracle silk. Shiki’s mother herself volunteered for this experiments as it’d generate more than enough money to live a normal life with Shiki. The experiments broke down Shiki’s mother and what happened to her later, wasn’t revealed.

Shiki also forgot about his mother as he constantly asked every day about his mother and after asking for years he knew that something wasn’t right and to escape the horrific reality, he left his uncle’s house and started living with Inugami.

While this conversation between was going on, Inugami kept his phone on and Shiki was listening to everything. Soon Shiki came and captured Akio and told everyone that he’s going to kill Akio and so the episode ended.

Kemono Jihen Episode 8 is scheduled to release on Sunday February 28.

The main protagonist of the show is Kabane and was about to be eliminated by Inugami who got this mission but since Inugami himself was a Kemono he knew the hardship of Kabane who was abandoned. Inugami asked if he wanted to meet his parents and in return, he only has to join his group.
