Footage of the event shows the skyscraper collapsing in seconds, sending a massive cloud of dust into the air and leaving a debris pile around five stories tall.

Previously known as the Capital One Tower, the building sustained severe damage from hurricanes Laura and Delta. Despite efforts to repair it, the owners eventually chose to demolish the structure, according to reports from the Associated Press.
