LTIMindtree is Rolling Out A New Work-from-office Policy Starting September 1

Under the new rules, employees failing to report to the office for four consecutive days will have one day of leave deducted starting September 1.

The company is asking all employees at certain levels to be in the office two days a week, while middle management and higher-ups will need to show up three days a week. Nachiket Deshpande, LTIMindtree’s COO, mentioned that they’re seeing a positive response from employees returning to the office and plan to roll out this approach in various locations.

Last year, LTI and Mindtree merged to create a combined entity worth $3.5 billion.

The Indian IT sector quickly adapted to remote work at the start of the pandemic, and this model continued as demand increased.

Approximately a month ago, Chief Operating Officer Nachiket Deshpande indicated that the company plans to maintain its hybrid work model, requiring most associates to work from the office two days a week, while middle management and leadership will be expected to do so three days a week.

Further, LTIMindtree previously stated that between 30% and 40% of employees are in the office during the week, although this number varies by location.
