Man Feels Bangalore’s Reputation Still Remains Unaltered, It Is All Social Media Hype

“Social media has just ruined Bengaluru’s reputation despite being one of the best places to live! I reached Bengaluru after five years, and nothing has changed. The weather is to die for- I could work for 70 hours in the week just sitting on the terrace without feeling the heat. Bengaluru’s spirit of innovation and inclusivity remains unmatched, no matter what social media says,” these are excerpts from his post.

Bengaluru has consistently drawn more residents, yet it has faced criticism from social media users lately. Many argue that the city has changed, citing altered weather patterns and increased traffic congestion.

Loya’s post attracted over 2,900 comments, along with more than a hundred likes and shares.

Recently, Bengaluru has been in the spotlight for various concerning issues, including language disputes, poor infrastructure, and severe traffic jams.

While these issues are indeed significant, Pranay Loya believes the city has been excessively judged by social media. He is confident that Bengaluru has not lost its unique character, having just returned after a five-year absence.

“Regardless of what social media claims, this city retains its charm and abundant opportunities. Auto and cab drivers drive like there’s no tomorrow. If you throw a paper plane into a crowd, chances are it will land in front of a startup founder working in Generative AI. ood is highly affordable: It cost me ₹100 to get a dosa, Idli, vada and filter coffee at Tazaa Thindi. People from across the country have left their well-paying jobs to build something here because of the infrastructure, VC, and startup ecosystem,” says his Linkedin post.

He is clearly a fintech expert, as evident from his LinkedIn profile. Additionally, he is an exceptional entrepreneur.

He emphasized that he has never felt isolated when expressing himself and confidently states that the city’s inclusivity continues to thrive.
