Mukesh Kolap, Assistant Commissioner of the Land and Estate Department at PCMC, addressed the issue by stating, “We are awaiting a decision on the parking policy, which will determine the proper use of the parking area. Meanwhile, we will instruct the security department to deploy personnel to protect the property. Further measures will be decided by the security team.”
Vijay Bhojane, Deputy Engineer at PCMC, added that the property has been officially handed over to the Land and Estate Department for further management. The current situation raises questions about the effectiveness of oversight and enforcement in ensuring public facilities serve their intended purposes.
