Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissioner Urges Peaceful and Safe Navratri Celebrations

1) Adequate security should be deployed at and around dandiya events during the Navratri festival.
2) Sufficient CCTV cameras should be installed at dandiya venues by the event organizers.
3) Special attention must be given to prevent harassment of women and young girls at dandiya and garba venues.
4) Event organizers should appoint enough volunteers at locations where idols of the goddess are kept and dandiya and garba events are held.
5) Police station patrolling vehicles, beat marshals, and DB teams should regularly check parks, gardens, open grounds, and public gathering places within the jurisdiction.
6) Routes for the goddess processions and Durga runs should be inspected in advance.
7) Proper arrangements should be made to prevent stray animals from roaming around venues with idols, garba, dandiya events, and crowded areas.
8) Police station and crime branch officers should conduct foot patrols daily in crowded places.
9) All efforts must be made to maintain law and order throughout the Navratri festival period.
Police Commissioner Vinaykumar Chaubey appealed to citizens to cooperate with the police and celebrate the festival peacefully and joyfully.
During the review meeting, Police Commissioner Vinaykumar Chaubey was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner of Crime Branch Sandeep Doiphode, Vishal Gaikwad, Deputy Commissioner Zone-2 Swapna Gore, Deputy Commissioner Zone-1 Dr. Shivaji Pawar, Assistant Commissioner of Police Pimpri Sachin Hire, Assistant Commissioner of Police Chinchwad Division Mugutrao Patil, Rajendra Singh Gaur (Assistant Commissioner Chakan Division), and other police officers from respective police stations.
