The upcoming audit will cross-verify the recommendations from the 2023 assessment and provide a fresh evaluation. Tender bids for the new audit were opened last week. According to a senior official from PMC’s building and establishment department, the audits will check whether previously suggested repairs have been completed.

In addition to auditoriums, new audits will be carried out in municipal hospitals and civic schools, totaling 75 municipal buildings. The audits are expected to be completed within a month, with the PMC allocating nearly Rs 80 lakh for this assessment. This move aims to enhance safety and improve the condition of public facilities across Pune.
