“The huge crowd has caused devotees to experience dizziness, vertigo, and suffocation,” said Dr. Milind Bhoi, trustee of Pune Police Vignaharta Nyas. “This year, we’ve seen a 30% increase in medical cases compared to last year.”

Children, adults, and senior citizens alike have been affected, with issues ranging from blood pressure and dizziness to breathing discomfort. The medical team has been working tirelessly to provide relief to the affected devotees.

To address these concerns, Pune Police Vighnaharta Nyas has initiated emergency medical services near Lakshmibai Dagdusheth Halwai Datta Mandir Trust. Additional measures for Visarjan day include four ambulances, four temporary health centers, and 15 medical teams along the 5-km procession route.

“We’re committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of devotees,” Dr. Bhoi emphasized. “Our medical teams are equipped to handle any situation that may arise.” As the city gears up for Visarjan, authorities urge citizens to prioritize their health and take necessary precautions.
