Pune PMC Offers 650 Youth Positions Under Chief Minister’s Youth Work Training Scheme


Pune, 4th August 2024: In the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), there is a significant opportunity for the youth. Under the Maharashtra Mukhyamantri Yuva Karyaprashikshan Yojana (Chief Minister’s Youth Work Training Scheme), 650 positions are available for individuals who have completed their 12th Grade. This scheme provides an opportunity for youth to work in various departments for six months.

Selected candidates will receive a stipend in the form of a scholarship: Rs 6,000 per month for 12th-pass candidates, Rs 8,000 for ITI or diploma holders, and Rs 10,000 for graduates or postgraduates. Candidates must submit their application forms to both the Social Development Department and the relevant department.

With the application deadline approaching, interested candidates should apply promptly. The positions available under the scheme include Mechanic, Carpenter, Painter, Machine Tool Repair, Junior Engineer (Architectural), Traffic Warden, Gardener in the Garden Department, Horticulture Engineer, Sanitary Works in the Field Office, Draftsman, Writer, Trainee Junior Engineer, Disaster Management Department roles, and positions in the Department of Environment among others.

Deputy Commissioner Nitin Udas has encouraged more youth to take advantage of this scheme, emphasizing that it provides valuable employment opportunities. With only six days remaining, interested candidates are urged to apply as soon as possible.
