On Raksha Bandhan, rickshaw travel up to Rs 100 will be free for women using the Rickshaw Mitra prepaid booth at Pune station from 8 AM to 8 PM. After this period, a Rs 100 discount will be provided on the total fare.
This gesture is a small gift from rickshaw drivers to women passengers on Raksha Bandhan. The rickshaw associations have encouraged women to take advantage of this offer. The Rickshaw Mitra Prepaid Booth is located in front of the Ticket Reservation Centre at Pune Railway Station.
