Chief Engineer Pawar personally participated in the immersion procession in Pune. He was accompanied by Superintendent Engineers Arvind Bulbule, Yuvraj Jarg, Singhaji Rao Gaikwad, and all Executive Engineers, with 43 sub-division heads and 170 branch officers on standby. The technical staff, both regular and outsourced, were positioned along the procession routes and immersion points, ensuring a smooth power supply and prioritizing electrical safety. A temporary control room was set up on Laxmi Road, a key route in Pune, to coordinate with other government agencies. The immersion processions of most Ganesh mandals in urban and rural areas concluded between 2 AM and 6 AM this morning without any issues related to power supply or safety.
Rajendra Pawar, Chief Engineer, Pune Division, stated, “All engineers and technical staff of MSEDCL performed excellently in ensuring a smooth power supply and safety during Ganeshotsav. We are grateful for the cooperation of all mandals and devotees. The festival concluded without any electrical safety incidents, which is highly satisfying.”
