Shah Rukh Khan features on 2024 Hurun India Rich List with Rs 7,300 crore fortune


The financial success of SRK is attributed to his thriving ventures, including his ownership of the Kolkata Knight Riders, the reigning IPL champions, and his production company, Red Chillies Entertainment along with his roles and brand endorsements.

Apart from this, Khan has the largest social media following among the Rich List members, with an impressive 44.1 million Twitter followers.

According to media reports, following Khan on the list is actress Juhi Chawla, who co-owns the Kolkata Knight Riders. Chawla’s wealth stands at Rs 4,600 crore, securing her the second spot among the silver screen titans.

Actor Hrithik Roshan claims the third position with a wealth of Rs 2,000 crore, bolstered by his successful athleisure brand, HRX. Roshan also ranks second in terms of social media followers, with 32.3 million Twitter followers.

The legendary Amitabh Bachchan holds the fourth position on the list, with a wealth of Rs 1,600 crore, primarily derived from investments.

Karan Johar, the renowned actor, producer, and director, and owner of Dharma Productions, secures the fifth spot with a wealth of Rs 1,400 crore.

The 2024 Hurun India Rich List showcases the diversity of India’s wealth creators, featuring a record-breaking 1,539 entrants from various backgrounds, including family-run businesses, startup founders, and film stars.

Besides, both Ratan Tata (13.1 million) and Anand Mahindra (11.2 million) have seen notable increases in their online followings.

India now has 1,539 people with a net worth of over Rs 1,000 crore, according to the 2024 Hurun India Rich List. This is a big jump of 220 people from last year.

The manufacturing sector has driven this growth, with many entrepreneurs making huge profits. Gautam Adani and his family are the richest, with a net worth of Rs 11.6 trillion.

In addition to this, Shah Rukh Khan has also secured a top spot on Forbes’ Top 10 Highest Paid Actors in India 2024. The list reveals that Khan commands an impressive fee of Rs 150-250 crore per film, positioning him ahead of other industry giants like Rajinikanth (Rs 115-270 crore), Thalapathy Vijay (Rs 130-250 crore), and Aamir Khan (Rs 100-275 crore).
