Luckily, there were no injuries reported from the incident, but the encounter certainly rattled everyone on the tourist bus. The Instagram post that shared the video included a caption stating: “A leopard at Bannerghatta National Park recently leaped onto the window of a jungle safari bus, creating a mix of awe and fear for the passengers inside. The wild cat’s unexpected arrival startled everyone as it jumped onto the bus window, staring directly at the people inside. Although the glass windows provided safety, the close encounter left the visitors in shock and amazement, offering them a rare and exhilarating glimpse of wildlife. Reports suggest that the incident occurred when the driver stopped to allow passengers a better view of the surroundings. Out of nowhere, the leopard jumped onto the bus, peering through the windows and causing panic among the passengers. This event was captured on video and later posted on Instagram on October 7 by Karnataka Portfolio.
Since it was posted, the 21-second video has racked up thousands of views.
