Assault at Joshi Vadawale: Pregnant Woman and Family Attacked Over Salt Complaint


Ankit managed to record the attack on video, which shows the staff not only hitting the victims but also damaging their gold jewelry. The video also captures the attackers threatening the victims with violence and using abusive language.

After the incident, Ankit Helgavkar reported the attack to the Mangaon police station. The police have opened an investigation, and Police Inspector Nivrutti Borhade is overseeing the case. The video has gone viral on social media, causing widespread outrage and calls for justice.

This event comes amid other troubling reports from highway hotels. In a separate case on the Mumbai-Goa highway, travelers heading home for Ganesh Chaturthi were also assaulted after complaining about their food being too salty. Hotel staff reportedly attacked not just the adults but also two young children, including a pregnant woman. The attackers used a chair and even tried to steal the woman’s mangalsutra.
