By linking major cities like Pune and Hubballi, the Vande Bharat Express is expected to boost trade, tourism, and cultural exchanges between Maharashtra and Karnataka.
The inclusion of additional stops at Dharwad, Belgaum, Kolhapur, Miraj, Sangli, Satara, and Karad will greatly enhance travel options, providing greater convenience for both daily commuters and those embarking on longer journeys.
Here are the new timings for the Pune-Hubballi Vande Bharat Express:
“From Hubballi to Pune: – Departure: 05:00 hrs – Arrival: 13:30 hrs From Pune to Hubballi: – Departure: 14:15 hrs – Arrival: 22:45 hrs.
There have also been some adjustments to the train’s timing at specific stations: – Belgaum: Arrival at 08:15 hrs, Departure at 08:20 hrs (previously 08:35/08:40 hrs)
Dharwad: Arrival at 10:13 hrs, Departure at 10:15 hrs (previously 10:20/10:22 hrs).”

The introduction of the new Vande Bharat services connecting Pune with SSS Hubballi and Kolhapur represents a major advancement in rail connectivity for both Karnataka and Maharashtra. Notably, the Pune-SSS Hubballi Vande Bharat Express is now the tenth such train operating in Karnataka.
This modern Vande Bharat Express is designed with an eight-coach configuration, accommodating up to 530 passengers. It incorporates state-of-the-art technology, including an improved suspension system, ensuring a travel experience that is both faster and more comfortable, providing a smooth journey for all travelers.
The Pune-SSS Hubballi Vande Bharat train will traverse important destinations, such as Belagavi, which is recognized for its esteemed medical and engineering colleges, Miraj, celebrated for its classical music instruments, and Sangli, noted for its agricultural products.
