Wakad, 12th September 2024: A shocking incident has come to light where a married woman committed suicide by hanging herself because her husband did not buy her a new mobile phone. The incident occurred yesterday around 7 PM. The woman has been identified as 20-year-old Shivani Gopal Sharma.

In today’s world, mobile phones have become a necessity for all age groups and many are addicted to it. Due to not receiving a mobile phone, Shivani hanged herself in her home. For the past few months, she had been requesting a new mobile phone from her husband, Gopal Sharma, who works at a private company.

Due to financial difficulties, he was unable to afford one, though he was trying to get it for her. As Shivani was alone at home and without a phone, her frustration grew. Finally, when her demand was not met, she committed suicide by hanging herself yesterday while her husband was away.

Upon returning from work, Gopal discovered his wife had taken her own life. The Wakad police reported that the investigation revealed she had used her mobile phone to hang herself.
