Pune, 16th September 2024: The Punit Balan Group (PBG), led by young entrepreneur and chief of the Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati celebrations, Punit Balan, has announced a ₹5 lakh reward for Sachin Khilari, the silver medalist in shot put at the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games. Additionally, Sandip Sargar, who delivered the best javelin throw performance of the season at the same event, will receive a ₹2 lakh reward.

Khilari and Sargar performed the traditional ‘Aarti’ of Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati during the event, where Punit Balan made the official reward announcement. The Punit Balan Group has consistently supported athletes by organizing sports tournaments and providing financial aid. Earlier, Paris Olympics bronze medalist in shooting, Swapnil Kusale, was honored with a ₹11 lakh reward from PBG.

Both Sachin Khilari and Sandip Sargar expressed their gratitude to Punit Balan for his support. Balan, in turn, offered prayers to Lord Ganesha, hoping for future medal-winning performances from the athletes.
