A similar case of a 25-year-old Mumbai-based entrepreneur, who was hospitalized for adopting a relentless work schedule, has come to light recently.

In response, he said: “TBH (to be honest) my routine has been like that since my college days but now my body has started to remind me that I am not 20 anymore.”

He also admits that maintaining these changes has been difficult, especially when work demands take over. The struggle to balance work with personal health is a challenge many in the tech industry face, and Kritarth’s journey is a reflection of this ongoing battle.

“I have a diet plan and I’ve tried to set up a sleep cycle, I just am ridiculously bad at following a routine. When I’m working, I lose track of time and then everything after that gets disrupted in order.”

Despite the difficulties, Kritarth said that he remains committed to finding a sustainable balance. He said that while 12-hour workdays might be manageable with the right diet and exercise, the long-term effects of such a lifestyle can be detrimental if not properly managed. The physical symptoms he has experienced, such as constant body pain and dark circles, serve as a reminder that success should not come at the cost of health.
