Pune, 23rd September 2024: St. Vincent’s High School played a dominating role emerging victors in all three sections against Hume Mchenry School in the Loyola Football Cup 2024 powered by Tata Autocomp at the Loyola H.S ground, Pashan here on Monday.
The best result for St. Vincent’s H.S came in the Under-12 section where they logged a huge 6-0 win. The victory was fashioned by a three-goal show by Rayan Punjabi who netted in the 1s’, 12’ and 17’ minutes of the game.
A brace by Yayha Shaikh (6’ and 35’) added up to the scoreline and Anvic Lobo (23’) netted one to complete the rout.
In the other match, the Under-14 St Vincent’s H.S team downed Hume Mchenry 4-0. The scoreline moved when Ishan Singh (4’) scored. Later, Ansh Lodha (29’ and 38’) gave the scoreline the push it needed while Arnav Mane (48’) completed the tally.
In the last match of the day, St Vincent’s H.S scored early to settle the game against Hume Mchenry 1-0. The all important goal was registered by (Awais Qureshi (13′) to settle the first half and the final score of the game.
Earlier in the day, Vidya Bhavan High School earned a walk-over from Vibgyor, who failed to turn up for all their matches.
