Shamiel Becharbhai, the director of the Honda dealership in St. Catharines, was astonished by Ghosh’s achievement, noting that he had never seen a vehicle with such extensive mileage in his 20 years in the business.

Honda Canada has acknowledged Ghosh’s unique accomplishment. A spokesperson from the company, Ken Chiu, described it as a remarkable record and expressed support for Ghosh’s request. The company is now working to address the issue and provide a solution that will allow Ghosh to continue documenting his driving achievements.
