Lottery of 6,294 Flats by MHADA Pune Division Begins: Key Dates and Details

Pune, 11th October 2024: After Mumbai, the Pune Division of the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) has launched an online lottery for the sale of 6,294 flats in various housing schemes across Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA), as well as Solapur, Kolhapur, and Sangli districts.

The registration and application process started on Thursday, 10th October, at 12 noon. An online computerized lottery for the sale of flats will be conducted on 5th December 2024. Registered applicants can begin making online payments from the same day. The online registration and application process will close on 12th November 2024, at 5 pm. Applicants must pay the deposit amount online by 11:59 pm on 12th November.

For those applying through RTGS/NEFT, payments can be made until 13th November 2024, by 3 pm during bank hours. The draft list of accepted applications will be published on the MHADA website (https://housing.mhada.gov.in) on 23rd November 2024, at 7 pm. Applicants can submit objections to the draft list until 5 pm on 27th November. The final list of eligible participants for the lottery will be released on 30th November 2024 on MHADA’s website.

The lottery scheme announced by the Pune Division is divided into five categories. A total of 2,340 flats are available under the MHADA scheme on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, 93 flats under the MHADA Housing Scheme and 418 flats under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) are also available on a first-come, first-served priority basis. Moreover, 3,312 flats are included in the 20% Comprehensive Housing Scheme, covering areas under Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), and PMRDA. Another 131 flats are included in the 15% Social Housing Scheme.

The Pune Division has urged applicants to carefully review the information booklet before registering and submitting their applications. The booklet is available on MHADA’s official website (https://housing.mhada.gov.in). MHADA has also clarified that it has not appointed any representative, consultant, or property agent for the distribution of flats, warning applicants against interacting with such persons to avoid fraud.
