A teacher in Maharashtra was caught off guard when she rushed to intervene in what she believed was a fight among students, only to be greeted with cheers and a thoughtful surprise instead. The playful prank, staged by her students, has since gone viral on social media.
The video, shared on Instagram by Sargam, a Class 10 student of Jaywant International School in Karad, has racked up over 54 million views. It begins with the teacher hurrying down the school hallway after being alerted to a supposed fight in the classroom. Expecting to restore order, she stormed through the door, only to be met with confetti, cheers and a bouquet from her students in honor of Teacher’s Day.
Her initial confusion quickly turned into delight as she realized the students had staged the scene as part of a surprise celebration. Her stern expression melted into a smile, capturing the hearts of viewers online who loved her sweet reaction to the thoughtful prank.
