New Delhi, 1st October 2024: New rules are being implemented for all telecom companies including Reliance Jio, Airtel, and VI from today. After these rules come into effect, customers will get better service than before. Along with this, there will be a great relief from call drops and unwanted calls.

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has asked telecom companies to improve their services. TRAI is changing the quality of service rules after almost 10 years. It is reported that if the service is disrupted for more than 24 hours in any area, then a fine can be imposed for this.

Till now, it was a lot of effort to find out the availability of the network in one’s area, but now according to new rules, all telecom companies will have to mention on their website about the service they are providing in certain areas. With the availability of information, customers will be able to choose a better service for themselves according to their needs.

Spam calls will also be curbed from today, 1st October. TRAI has ordered all telecom companies to change their service policies according to the convenience of customers. TRAI has also advised to start of some new facilities in the interest of customers to stop call drops and unwanted calls to the respective companies. Also, according to the new rules, if any company does not follow the rules and makes spam calls, then action can also be taken against it.
