To handle emergency situations, additional commissioners have been assigned to coordinate regional offices. Pradeep Jambhale Patil will oversee C, E, and F regional offices, Vijaykumar Khorate will manage D, G, and H regional offices, while Chandrakant Indalkar will coordinate with A and B regional offices. All regional officers have been instructed to respond immediately to emergencies and deploy systems to drain water in areas where flooding occurs. Commissioner Singh also directed close coordination with the police in handling such situations.
A control room has been activated at the municipal headquarters in Pimpri, where Commissioner Singh is reviewing the situation. Additional Commissioner Chandrakant Indalkar, Deputy Commissioner Vitthal Joshi, Chief Security Officer Uday Jarande, and Chief Disaster Management Officer Omprakash Bahival are monitoring emergency situations across the city, and necessary instructions are being relayed to the concerned officials. To ensure preparedness, the municipal corporation has implemented flood control systems at the regional office level.
