CM Shinde emphasized the importance of open spaces in new developments around Pune and advised the use of experts in city planning. He also directed that the regularization fees under the Plotting Act be reduced and extended till March 31. Additionally, CM Shinde urged swift action on the allocation of the remaining 1,620 houses out of the 4,886 affordable homes and the acceleration of construction for the second phase of 6,000 homes, ensuring parks and open spaces are included.

The meeting also saw the approval of the establishment of a disaster response team for the Pune Metropolitan Region and the construction of 10 new fire stations, along with plans for sewage systems in 11 locations. A glass skywalk at Tiger and Lions Point in Lonavala was also approved.
