Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Pune on September 26 and 27. During his visit, he will inaugurate the underground metro corridor from District Court to Swargate and lay the foundation for its extension to Katraj. Additionally, the PM will kick off an elevated metro corridor from Pimpri-Chinchwad to Nigdi.

The withdrawal of the monsoon from Maharashtra is expected to be delayed until October, with more rains likely to affect the region.
