SNBP Group of Institutes Sets Guinness World Record with 34,285 Rakhi Tribute to Kargil Victory

This attracted the prestigious Guinness World Record for the Organization! “The Guinness World Record Holder” award was handed over to Dr D.K Bhosale Chairman of SNBP Group and Dr Vrishali Bhosale, President of S.E Society on Monday, 7th October’24 by Mr Swapnil Dangarikar a very well- known adjudicator of Guinness, amidst lot of paparazzi at SNBP Rahatani Campus. Directors Ms Devayani Bhosale, Dr Rutuja Bhosale and Dr Jayshree Venkatraman along with principals of all the sister branches were present for the event. The star attraction of the event was the presence of Col Lalit Rai, VrC, the former Indian Army officer who was decorated for his brave actions during the Kargil War in 1999. As the commanding Officer of the 1st battalion, 11 Gorkha Rifles, he was tasked with capturing the strategic heights of Khalubar in the Batalik sector during the Kargil War. SNBP Group has always been very proactive and articulate professing its ardent love and admiration to the Armed Forces. Sending gratitude cards, rakhis, handcrafted handkerchiefs to the Armed Forces has been an annual event at SNBP Schools and Colleges.

Keeping the tradition, the Organization developed a sentence dedicated to the Kargil Victory to commemorate its Silver Jubilee. The celebrated sentence stated:

“ TWENTY-FIVE YEARS OF KARGIL VIJAY !”

This sentence was written using 34285 rakhis in tricolor. The whole ambience got lit with an amazing patriotic flavor to match the sentiments of the Founders Dr D.K Bhosale and Dr Vrishali Bhosale.

This achievement comes in the wake of the Organization completing 26 years serving the cause of Education in the city of Pune deemed as Oxford of the East.
