Ghorpadi, 11th September 2024: Work on the Railway Flyover on the Pune-Miraj Railway Line is ongoing under the Wanowrie Traffic Branch. To ensure citizen safety and smooth traffic flow, some traffic changes have been implemented. Orders regarding these changes have been issued by Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Amol Zende.

The changes are as follows:

1. Vehicles travelling from National War Memorial Southern Command to Mundhwa via Ghorpadi Railway Gate should use the route from Kendriya Vidyalaya Junction to Ghorpadi Police Chowky.
2. Only four-wheelers, three-wheelers, and two-wheelers will be allowed from the Mundhwa and Ghorpadi Railway Bridge (Solapur Railway Line) to the National War Memorial Southern Command. All other vehicles, including Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) buses, are not permitted.

Alternate Route: Vehicles that are not allowed on the regular route from Mundhwa should proceed straight from Ghorpadi Railway Flyover (Solapur Railway Line) to BT Kawade Road, then towards Sopan Baug Society, and finally to Solapur Road to reach their destination.

If anyone has objections or suggestions, DCP Traffic Amol Zende has requested that they be submitted in writing to the DCP Traffic’s Office, Traffic Control Branch, Yerawada Post Office, Bungalow No. 6, Jail Road, Pune, between 11th and 25th September.
