Err_Name_Resolution_Failed Error in Google Chrome

Err_Name_Resolution_Failed Error in Google Chrome
So what is the Err_Name_Resolution_Failed Error in Google Chrome? How to deal with it?
So, basically, when we visit any website then sometimes we might see this message, “The webpage might be temporarily down or moved permanently to new web address”
After that, we see this error – ” Err_Name_Resolution_Failed Error in Google Chrome “
If you have a working internet connection and you are facing this error then, then the problem is associated with your computer DNS settings or Winsock. So, simply we have to change the setting by using the following steps.
1.Clear Browsing Data From Google Chrome Browser
Open your Google Chrome browser and after that, as showing in the below image, you have to click on the upper right corner three vertical dots menu, scroll down to More Tools, and click on the “Clear Browsing Data”

As shown in the below image, see step 4 and select the Time range limit, make it All Time, that tick on Browsing History, Cookies and other data and Cached Images. And Click on the Clear data button.
After that, try to access the same web pages that you are earlier wanted to visit. If the error is solved, then it’s great, but if you still face the same issue. Then follow the steps.

2. Power Cycle Router/Modem
Before trying step 5, if you are using the Router or modem, then kindly unplug the Router or modem from its power supply, wait for 2 minutes, and plug it again.
After this process, try to open the web pages, if you still facing the error, then follow step 5.
3. Flush DNS and Reset Winsock
As shown in step 5, type CMD, in the search bar, after that right-click on the command prompt and click on the Run as administrator option.
After that, on the command prompt window, type ipconfig/flushdns, as you see in step 6, We underlined the text.
As shown in step 7, type netsh winsock reset and press enter key.
Once you follow the steps, close the command prompt window and Restart your computer.

4.Reset Chrome Browser
Either you are using the Android phone, Mac, Windows Computer and laptops, Or Chromebook. The steps to reset the chrome browser are the same.
Open the Chrome browser, click on the 3 dots menu, and click on settings as shown in steps 1and 2, move to step 3 tick on the Open the New Tab page and click on the Advanced.
As shown in Step 4, select the Restore Settings to their original defaults option.
After that, you will see a pop–up, simply, click on the button.

5.Change DNS Server.
If you are still facing the ERR_NAME_RESOLUTION_FAILED Error in Chrome, then there might be the webpage that you are visiting, either it is blocked by your DNS service provider for a temporary period.
For this, simply go to Settings, Choose Network and Internet, scroll down and Choose Change Adapter Option.

After that, Right-click on the Network(WiFi or Ethernet) where you want to change the DNS server. And choose and select the Properties.

Note: Here is a possibility if you are not an admin then, or not logged in then you have to enter the Admin Password.
After that, you will see a new screen, Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)
As shown in the below image, click on the properties.

A next screen will prompt, you have to change that DNS server address with these DNS servers.
In the Preferred DNS Server enter – 8.8.8.8 and in the Alternate DNS server enter – 8.8.4.4 after that, click on OK, all your DNS settings will be saved.

After that, restart your computer and you will not see ERR_NAME_RESOLUTION_FAILED Error in Chrome anymore.
